Solemnity of Christ the King

I told myself that this blog wouldn’t be complete without one or two posts about my faith, today 20th of November, 2022 we celebrate the solemnity of Christ the King. Now what does this mean you may ask, it a celebration of Jesus Christ as the universal king. We see a description of Christ from the second reading taking from Letter of Saint Paul to the Colossians chapter 1 from verse 12 to 20. It says all things were created through Him and for Him, He (Christ) the is head of the church and in Him the all fullness of God was pleased to dwell and through Him reconciliation of everything on earth and in Heaven.  In the gospel reading we find Jesus’s kingship being questioned by the soldiers and criminal who hanged beside Him but the other criminal recognized should I say the kingly power that Jesus was to have and had, Jesus like it said in the second reading stated above, all thrones, dominion, principalities and authorities were created for Him and  through Him.  Meaning ...
