Arrogance or Raw Honesty?

 I remember reading a Calli Hart novel and there was a particular statement one of her characters made he said “raw honesty looks a lot like arrogance to the untrained eyes”. For me that couldn’t be more true, sometimes we mistake raw honesty for being prideful or arrogant, but what is raw honesty itself before we jump into conclusions you may ask. It is simply stating the truth with the knowledge it may be disappointing or upsetting without softening its effect. 

Sometimes without knowing the difference between the two we mistake one for the other, even in the Bible we find example where this mistake occurs or even in our daily lives. Have you ever mistook one for the other? Kindly share in the comment or if you disagree.
