I told myself that this blog wouldn’t be complete without one or two posts about my faith, today 20th of November, 2022 we celebrate the solemnity of Christ the King. Now what does this mean you may ask, it a celebration of Jesus Christ as the universal king. We see a description of Christ from the second reading taking from Letter of Saint Paul to the Colossians chapter 1 from verse 12 to 20. It says all things were created through Him and for Him, He (Christ) the is head of the church and in Him the all fullness of God was pleased to dwell and through Him reconciliation of everything on earth and in Heaven.  In the gospel reading we find Jesus’s kingship being questioned by the soldiers and criminal who hanged beside Him but the other criminal recognized should I say the kingly power that Jesus was to have and had, Jesus like it said in the second reading stated above, all thrones, dominion, principalities and authorities were created for Him and  through Him.  Meaning ...

  I remember reading a Calli Hart novel and there was a particular statement one of her characters made he said “raw honesty looks a lot like arrogance to the untrained eyes”. For me that couldn’t be more true, sometimes we mistake raw honesty for being prideful or arrogant, but what is raw honesty itself before we jump into conclusions you may ask. It is simply stating the truth with the knowledge it may be disappointing or upsetting without softening its effect.   Sometimes without knowing the difference between the two we mistake one for the other, even in the Bible we find example where this mistake occurs or even in our daily lives.  It’s been two months or more since Our Beloved Summer (OBS)finished airing. It was one drama that felt so relatable and very therapeutic to me personally. I got so many inspiring and corrective lessons too. So I’ll be sharing some lessons I learnt today. Kim Da Mi who played Yeon-soo broke up with Choi Ung played by Choi woo Shik because she believed they were living different realities, she was poor and he was rich. She didn’t want to be vulnerable with Ung. She never wanted him to know her insecurities and struggles forgetting that in a relationship vulnerability is must. Being open with your partner strengthens the relationship, we live in a time where nobody wants to be that open, afraid their insecurities will be used against them. Without opening up to anyone how then are we living. The level of openness with people we meet differs. Surely a parents relationship requires a different level of openness to that of friendship.  Being open about things doesn’t make one weak ...

 This blog is coming a day after valentines but better late than never. Valentines is a day to celebrate love, love for family, friends or lovers. The pressure to receive gifts or acts of love from a lover shouldn’t overshadow the purpose of the day. Try to show love to your friends, those who have been there with you through hard times and good times, your family who loves you. Also try to show love to the needy this day, those who do not have anything to eat or wear tall less of worry about a lover. If you’re feeling unloved please remember someone loves you so deeply that words can’t describe and that person is God.  Have a wonderful day ahead and please tell me how you feel or what you understand by valentines.  Its 11:32 pm that’s 23 hrs 32 minutes not properly utilized for me to read this course whose exams I’m having next week. Now the dilemma of having to pick between sleeping now, to go for mass early, or to stay and sleep 3am in attempt to read is what I really  want to escape. Hmm if you add the 2 minutes I’m using to write this whatever it is well my time my time is pretty wasted. I feel like crying but I can’t, I have to woman up and pick a struggle. God help me this week and please wish me luck thanks :) this basically what I came to post to my 2 reader (laughs), byeee.

Good evening everyone once again am here to share my thoughts about certain things that occur in life.   Today I would like to talk about dating, so firstly some people feel its right to FIGHT over their boyfriends and girlfriends  but is that entirely right? For me its a no in some cases, like if the girl or the guy is having another relationship or leading someone else on and the person decides to take a pose on his/her life I won't fight because if my boyfriend truly cares about me or loves me I would know my place which no one could easily take because I would trust him but if later in the day am disappointed I wouldn't fight because he is not worth fighting for, likewise in the cases of girls. Also depending on the relationship and how far its gone, I feel I would only fight for my fiance not boyfriend or girlfriend. Please comment and as well share your thoughts ;)
